Become a Real Ferry Boat Captain

The United States Coast Guard approved a course of instruction whereby the Millersburg Ferry can train and test personnel. This was part of the “Licensing 2000 and Beyond” program and was implemented in December 2002. We now have several individuals who have successfully completed the course and now pilot our vessels.

 

Additional personnel are currently in training as well. This unique educational program helps ensure qualified U.S. Coast Guard certified staff well into the future. Please contact us for more information on how you can apply for our Captain’s Licensing Course.
